When I traveled to New York, I had a bit of an issue with my hotel reservation. I made a reservation a twin-bed room, but they gave me a double-bed room. So I went down to the front desk and asked to change my room. To make matters worse, the heater wasn't working properly. I spoke up instead of putting up with it, and they sent someone to fix it, but they couldn't fix it. So I left a note saying" I was so cold that I couldn't sleep well last night. I would appreciate it if you bring me a warm blanket." Finally, I could get a blanket the next day.
Revised Version When I traveled to New York, I had a bit of an issue with my hotel reservation. I made a reservation for a twin-bed room, but they gave me a double-bed room. So I went down to the front desk and asked to change rooms. To make matters worse, the heater wasn’t working properly. I spoke up instead of putting up with it, and they sent someone to fix it, but they couldn’t. So I left a note saying, “I was so cold that I couldn’t sleep well last night. I would appreciate it if you could bring me a warm blanket.” Finally, I was able to get a blanket the next day. 핵심 수정 포인트made a reservation a twin-bed room → made a reservation for a twin-bed room reservation for ~ 이 구조가 기본 • asked to change my room → asked to change rooms → 호텔에서는 보통 rooms 복수로 자연스럽게 사용 • they couldn't fix it → they couldn’t → 뒤에 반복 생략 가능 (더 자연스러움) • bring me → could bring me → 정중함 + 자연스러운 요청 • I could get → I was able to get → 결과 강조할 때 더 자연스러움 한 단계 더 자연스러운 버전! So I left a note saying, “I was so cold I couldn’t sleep well last night. I’d really appreciate it if you could bring me a warm blanket.” that 생략 + I’d really appreciate it → 훨씬 자연스럽고 많이 쓰는 톤

One thing I always pack for a trip is cooling patches called 휴족시간. After a long day of walking, I put them on my calves before bed and they really help loosen up my legs.
(Natural Version) One thing I always pack for a trip is cooling patches called Hyujok Sigan. At work, there's always that kind of person who is too talkative and shares too much. In that case, I try to keep things to myself. Otherwise, everything I tell him ends up spreading throughout the office. It's not necessarily intended, but it still makes me feel uneasy. I just want to avoid confronting him. That's why all I do is be mindful of what I say.
(Natural Version) At work, there’s always that kind of person who is too talkative and shares too much. In that case, I try to keep things to myself. Otherwise, everything I tell him ends up spreading throughout the office. It’s not necessarily intentional, but it still makes me feel uneasy. I just want to avoid confronting him. That’s why all I do is be mindful of what I say. 핵심 수정 포인트 intended → intentional It’s not necessarily intended → 틀린 건 아니지만 조금 어색 • It’s not necessarily intentional → “일부러 그런 건 아니지만” 이 상황엔 intentional이 가장 자연스러움 That’s why all I do is be mindful ~ 문법적으로 가능하지만 살짝 딱딱함 더 자연스럽게는: • That’s why I’m mindful of what I say. • That’s why all I can do is be mindful of what I say. 아주 잘 쓰신 표현들 there’s always that kind of person “어딜 가나 꼭 그런 사람 있잖아” 느낌 자연스럽게 잘 쓰셨어요!

Part of me is excited, but at the same time, I feel overwhelmed about a lot of work. I can picture myself being buried in work. The best way to make the most of a business trip is to take a day off and go there one or two days earlier or stay one or two days longer. And you could do short sightseeing on a weekend between working days.

I feel like I'm already too dependent on AI. I know that it gives us a huge advantage. Things that once took hours now take minutes. But sometimes, I catch myself asking AI without trying to think on my own. So I've started to feel worried that I might lose my ability to think deeply. That's why I think it's better to think by myself first and then use AI as a reference.

At this time of year, I'm likely to catch a cold because of the big temperature swings. So I try to dress in layers, and I always bring a jacket just in case. It's a bit of a hassle to carry it around, but it's better than catching a cold. And at this season, scarf is very useful. Just wearing a scarf around your neck can easily get your body temperature going up around two degrees. I feel like spring is getting shorter, so it feels like we never get to wear pretty spring clothes for long enough. Before you know it, summer is right around the corner. That's why I don't spend much money on spring clothes.
(Natural Version) At this time of year, I'm more likely to catch a cold because of the big temperature swings. I catch myself mindlessly reaching for my phone anytime and anywhere. As soon as I wake up, I check my phone. Even when I'm in my bathroom, I keep scrolling my phone mindlessly. I feel like it's kind of addiction. But when I'm doing Pilates, I feel like I'm getting my peace of mind back. I can only focus on breaths, balance and movements of my body.
I catch myself mindlessly reaching for my phone anytime and anywhere. Those perfect morning routines that everyone posts about are not my thing. I always struggle with waking up in the morning, so I don't have enough time to get ready. I just have a quick shower and put on simple makeup before leaving my house. I try to pick out outfits and prepare simple breakfast the night before to save time.
Those perfect morning routines that everyone posts about are not my thing. When spring comes, I try to get out for a walk and literally smell spring in the air. Last week, I had a picnic with my coworkers. We spread out a picnic blanket under cherry blossom trees and oldered hamburgers. It feels like we've traded these shared experiences for a little more safety. Everything feels isolated. I can't help but feel like we're missing out on something real. miss 와 miss out on 차이가 궁금해요
이 문장에서 나온 miss vs. miss out on 차이, 딱 핵심만 잡아드릴게요. miss vs. miss out on 핵심 차이miss → 놓치다 / 못 보다 (사건 자체를 놓침) • miss out on → (경험/기회)를 놓치다 (→ 더 아쉬움/손해 느낌) miss 단순히 “못 했다 / 놓쳤다” I missed the bus. 버스를 놓쳤어 I missed the meeting. I missed out on the festival. I don’t want to miss out on this opportunity. I can't help but feel like we're missing out on something real. 여기서는 단순히 “못 했다”가 아니라 • 예전에는 있던 경험을 못 하고 있고 • 뭔가 중요한 걸 놓치고 있다는 아쉬움 miss something real → 그냥 “놓치고 있다” (감정 약함) miss out on something real → “소중한 경험을 놓치고 있다” (감정 강조) 한 줄 정리 miss = 사실 / miss out on = 아쉬운 경험
