When I traveled to New York, I had a bit of an issue with my hotel reservation. I made a reservation a twin-bed room, but they gave me a double-bed room. So I went down to the front desk and asked to change my room.
To make matters worse, the heater wasn't working properly. I spoke up instead of putting up with it, and they sent someone to fix it, but they couldn't fix it. So I left a note saying" I was so cold that I couldn't sleep well last night. I would appreciate it if you bring me a warm blanket." Finally, I could get a blanket the next day.

One thing I always pack for a trip is cooling patches called 휴족시간. After a long day of walking, I put them on my calves before bed and they really help loosen up my legs.

At work, there's always that kind of person who is too talkative and shares too much. In that case, I try to keep things to myself. Otherwise, everything I tell him ends up spreading throughout the office. It's not necessarily intended, but it still makes me feel uneasy. I just want to avoid confronting him. That's why all I do is be mindful of what I say.

1, Sometimes I'm too buried in way too much works to see the bigger picture. And I catch myself just being obsessed with checking things off.
2. To break free from self-doubt, I ask my coworkers for helps, which gives me a fresh idea and motivation that I can move forward.

Part of me is excited, but at the same time, I feel overwhelmed about a lot of work. I can picture myself being buried in work. The best way to make the most of a business trip is to take a day off and go there one or two days earlier or stay one or two days longer. And you could do short sightseeing on a weekend between working days.

Part of me is excited, but at the same time, I feel overwhelmed by all the work.
I can picture myself being buried in work.

• on a weekend between working days → on the weekend between workdays

I feel like I'm already too dependent on AI. I know that it gives us a huge advantage. Things that once took hours now take minutes. But sometimes, I catch myself asking AI without trying to think on my own. So I've started to feel worried that I might lose my ability to think deeply. That's why I think it's better to think by myself first and then use AI as a reference.

At this time of year, I'm likely to catch a cold because of the big temperature swings. So I try to dress in layers, and I always bring a jacket just in case. It's a bit of a hassle to carry it around, but it's better than catching a cold. And at this season, scarf is very useful. Just wearing a scarf around your neck can easily get your body temperature going up around two degrees. I feel like spring is getting shorter, so it feels like we never get to wear pretty spring clothes for long enough. Before you know it, summer is right around the corner. That's why I don't spend much money on spring clothes.

I catch myself mindlessly reaching for my phone anytime and anywhere. As soon as I wake up, I check my phone. Even when I'm in my bathroom, I keep scrolling my phone mindlessly. I feel like it's kind of addiction. But when I'm doing Pilates, I feel like I'm getting my peace of mind back. I can only focus on breaths, balance and movements of my body.

Those perfect morning routines that everyone posts about are not my thing. I always struggle with waking up in the morning, so I don't have enough time to get ready. I just have a quick shower and put on simple makeup before leaving my house. I try to pick out outfits and prepare simple breakfast the night before to save time.

When spring comes, I try to get out for a walk and literally smell spring in the air. Last week, I had a picnic with my coworkers. We spread out a picnic blanket under cherry blossom trees and oldered hamburgers. It feels like we've traded these shared experiences for a little more safety. Everything feels isolated. I can't help but feel like we're missing out on something real.
miss 와 miss out on 차이가 궁금해요
이 문장에서 나온 miss vs. miss out on 차이, 딱 핵심만 잡아드릴게요.
miss vs. miss out on
miss
I missed the bus.
I missed the meeting.
miss out on
“경험을 못 해서 아쉽다” 느낌
I missed out on the festival.
I don’t want to miss out on this opportunity.
지금 문장에 왜 miss out on이 맞냐
I can't help but feel like we're missing out on something real.
miss something real
miss out on something real
miss = 사실 / miss out on = 아쉬운 경험
